Mr. Rowan has received a number of awards and honours

Research

Mr. Rowan’s research focus was broad early in his post-graduate career but has narrowed to focus on hip and knee surgery in recent years. Outside work

Mr. Rowan is married with children and keeps fit by running, cycling and swimming. As a schoolboy, student and an early post-graduate, he competed nationally and internationally in rugby, sailing, triathlon, marathon and cycling.
